Eco means ”house” in Greek, or ”home”. Logos in Greek means ”word”, ”reason” of ”science”. Logic. The word ”nomos” means ”law” or ”rule”. The common denominator between the two words economy and ecology is that both deal with our ”home”. And, being part of the same structure, isn’t law supposed to follow reason? Or, on a metaphysical level, isn’t law in the platonic sense just another form of reason?
