Thank you for visiting my page, the “PALAMEDES Law & History Blog”. As a lawyer I have been fortunate enough to work on different locations in Europe and in the Caribbean. Besides my interest in law I have always been fascinated by history, which inspired me to create this blog on the crossroads between law and history in the Americas. The blog has a focus on the Late Colonial and Early Independence Era (roughly between 1760 and 1860).
